Due to a few problems with the initial date for the Willo Enduro in 2016, the date for the Willo has been changed from March 13 to three weeks earlier – Sunday February 21st 2016.
There were a few clashes with other events on March 13th 2016 and after much concern we made the decision to move the date three weeks forward.
Put this in your diary now – Willo Enduro 2016 to be held Sunday February 21st 2016
This means there are 76 days to the next Willo. Perfect amount of time for training now!
The Willo Enduro is held every year to commemorate the memory of James Williamson (Willo) who died in 2010 at the age of 26 of an undiagnosed heart condition. James was a keen ambassador for the sport, loved riding and racing with friends, was the Australian and World 24 HOUR mountain bike champion, but is always remembered for being just himself, for being supportive and encouraging to everyone at every level, on every track and in many different ways. This is James’s legacy that continues, through the annual Willo Enduro Race and the Junior Development Camp.
